In this fast moving modern world, welcome to our little corner of the internet dedicated to traditional wooden toys. From Building Blocks to Rocking Horses, Train sets to Dolls Houses - we hope to educate, indulge, entertain and inform.  In addition we provide you with some helpful resources to buy your own traditional and wooden toys.

Over time we will be adding more and more toy reviews and links to buying toys online  which, as well as being of general interest, may help you to make more informed choices about which toys to buy for your own children. The toy review section of the site is driven by you, the parents, if you already own any of the toys found on the review pages of the site, please help us to help you by adding your own honest feedback and help us to make Toys in the Wood the place to come for reviews and stockists of your favourite traditional toys. We hope in time, to be able to offer you price comparisons from several major online retailers.
